aftermarketgeneration keyless entry alarm and remote start. all seems fine except when 1992 dodge dakota starts the starter is still engaging when running? checked tach wire all voltages seen fine what else should i try.

are you sure you have the right tach wire, if you do have the right wire, tach has to be programmed did you do that

What did you use for a tach source?  Did you try gray at the ignition coil?

i used black with grey stripe.and no i didnt program tach.ill check thanks

The tach wire on this truck is actually GRAY at the coil.
