I just had someone put in a Clifford Matrix 3 into my 2000 GT and I seem to be having a problem with the alarm going off every 30 min. Now i did some homework on this issue and it seems the the new Fords pulse the door locks every 30 minutes to check to see if they are locked, thus setting off my alarm as well. Apparently the place i had the alarm installed (Best Buy) didnt know about that problem. Is there anything i can do to remedy this problem myself? What would I need, etc.? Thanks in advance.

Hey Joe, I have worked for Best Buy before and all you really need to do is bring your car up to them and they will gladly fix the problem. Best Buy lifetime warranties all of their work. Alarms are pretty sophisticated and if you try to fix this problem yourself, you will void Best Buy's warranty.

I actually work for Best Buy too as a technician. They worked on it again all day today and still no luck. Basically I was looking for some infor to relay to them. I really didnt want to do it myself. Any info i can get it appreciated.

hi,
yes here is the solution:
*2 There are two door trigger wires. Use yellow/black for the drivers door and gray/red for the passengers door. Both wires are found above the drivers kick panel in a 20 pin connector. Use both wires and diode isoate each
make sure the diodes are facing with the band towards the doors!
this will fix the problem!
