Working on a 1999 Mercury villager. Have everything hooked up right all the right wires. When we try to remote start it nothing happens. The acc. and ign wires all power up but the starter does not engage. The starter wires will get power when they need to but the starter doesn't engage. The hood pin is fine. the tach is fine. Have the second relay hooked up right. Everything is fine and gets power when needs it. It's just the damn starter doesn't engage. Help out soon please.

Are you sure you have the right wire for the starter. If you do then check to make sure the purple has a good connection. Test the purple wire while cranking with key to make sure its connected good.
