I have a 2001 chevy lumina v6 3800 engine. I want to get my wife a remote starter for christmas for this vehicle. Can anyone point me in the right direction on what i need. From what i have read i need the bypass module, now what model remote starter is a good all around model & do the bypass module work with any remotes or do you have to buy the start & bypass together...thxs.

an 01 lumina runs a V.A.T.S. antitheft system. I use Ultrastart and Scytek units myself due to ease of installation.
