I've done a few 2-way remote starts from Crimestopper and at least two of the people I've done them for have made the mistake of dropping their remotes and breaking the battery cover when it pops off. Personally, I've had CS2015's and 2016's for over 2 years and never broken one by treating it real careful and always making sure the battery cover is locked (CS699FM).

Does anyone who deals with Crimestopper know if replacement battery covers are available? Most recently a relative broke a CS379LED cover (RS999TW1 remote start model) and a new cover would work a whole lot better than the duct tape she's using now. Based on my experience contacting Crimestopper directly it can be hard to get someone to respond, especially when they're out flat with more important tech support issues in the heart of the RS season. So I thought I'd throw it out here where someone may have dealt with this problem already.
