I'm installing a RS in a 2004 GMC diesel. I did not hook up the wait to start wire, the vehicle takes less then a sec. to warm the glow plugs. It will not remote start. Does the vehicle have a safety feature that won't let it start tell the light goes out? Also how will the blue wait to start wire meter? I have three in the cluster and can't figure out what one it is because the light turns off so fast.
thanks

What are you using for ByPASS??
Wait To Start will Show NEGATIVE after Key is turned on & light has timed out
You can also find it at the PCM......
The PCM (Powertrain Control Module) is in the left front of the engine compartment to the left of the fan shroud. The wait to start wire is in the green plug, pin 36........dk. blue

The wait to start wire, is the Blue wire that is closest to the drivers side in the insturment cluster plug.
