Hey there!

I have an '05 F150 STX, and I need a little help before I start on this thing.

I just received a kit I bought off ebay that consists of a Galaxy 5100rs alarm/remote start, a colibri power window kit, and a power door lock kit.

The door lock kit has 2 actuators with 2 wires each (green and blue), the rods and pins, some hardware, wiring harnesses, and a relay unit with a 5 pin connector and a 3 pin connector.

Now my problem is that I don't know how to hook everything up. I assume that I have to use the provided relay for both actuators, but the wiring for each connector is only a foot or so long. On top of that I don't know which wires to connect to the alarm.

If anyone can shed some light on this, then shine it on me! Thanks in advance.

yea, theres a plug on the 3 pin connector. The wire colors on the five pin one are: purple, brown, blue, green, white.

ok the 3pin plug goes to the alarm.....purple goes to 12constant.....brown to ground......white to ground......blue to the blue on the actuators (both of them) and green to the green on the actuators (both or them).....sometimes the blue and green needs to be switch depeanding on the install and how u mount the actuator.....get it?  Let me know

ok, awesome! So i guess i just need to get some longer wire to run to the passenger side. Do I need to ground both wires to a common ground or does it even matter? Thanks alot!

well it doesnt really matter but when it comes to car audio ....all grounds should be to the same point......also does the aftermarket system u bought have a 2nd unlock output wire?  If it does u can wire up the system to unlock the driver door on the first unlock and then the other doors on the second unlock.....also did u get a bypass module for the remote start part of the system?  your car requires one to remote start.

I think it does. I'm looking at the manual right now, and its calling it a two stage door lock system. I did get a bypass module, and I'm about to start reading up on it. So I might be posting about that when I get confused too. Thanks for the help
