I've put remote starts in these vehicle and for some odd reason it won't start when it's real cold.  The engine cranks, but does not turn over.  The security light does not flash.  If the motor is warm it starts right up.  It's set on voltage sensing, and not tach.  Maybe the cells in the battery freeze and the remote start doesn't see an increased voltage?

any suggestions

Use tach sensing and use the tach wire at the BCM under the dash on the drivers side
