I just bought the ProStart CT-3400TW 2-Way starter for my 99' Cavalier Z24, manual trans. I got everything set up, checked over the wires multiple times, replaced the module thinking it was that that was the problem, but i had the same problem. When I go to program the transmitter it doesn't flash 5 times. Its like the ignition sequence is wrong or somethin. I pressed the hood pin for 4 seconds, then hit it again, turned the ignition on for 2 seconds, then off on off, pressed the lock button, tried repeatedly hitting it and tried holding it down and it still didn't work. Please help, I've tried everything.

Keep trying! I had the same problem.  Pop the hood and use the button on the back of the module.  Press and hold it for 4 seconds and when you let go you should here and see the park lights switch on.  As soon as that happens just tap the button and you should have 20 seconds to program.  Once you have achieved that turn the ignition on  then off and press and hold the lock button until you get the 5 flashes.  It took me about 10 attempts but I finally got it.

If you got a new module to try and it didn't work it could be the antenna.

You have to have the antenna pluged in at both ends, also test the brake light wire at the unit and make sure it is powering up when you push the brake....
