Has anyone ever used Car Stereo Power in KC,KS? I'm looking at having them install a couple of remote starters. They use crimestopper. is that a good brand? They will do it for $159 installed. is that a good price? thanks

Don't know about the shop you want to use , but the price is right. I just installed mine and the parts cost me 200 buck and I did the install, If you want to check the prices here's a few links to help you out Crimestoppers electronics Doorlock Interface Kits ------------- RFD

They had a large batch of bad boards (thats why we don't use them anymore). They loose keyfob programming all of the time. Stay away from Crimestopper.

The ONLY brand I have ever installed....thats FAILED. Old school stuff stinks, I hope they have improved quality since. -------------

I agree... sounds too good to be true. Now, are they just low-balling all of the other shops in the area, or are they nieve to the true time it takes to intall these units properly? ------------- KLS Glass Tinting & Electronics

I went by and they are installing the rs-1303 for $169 installed, I must have misheard on the phone. The shop was well organized and the owner was knowledgable and well spoken. He told me he could reuse the t-harness and key bypass I had already bought and that would lower the price some. It seems like a good deal.
