Hey guys,

I have a compustar system version 2WFMR and I'm having a slight problem. Recently my remote crapped out on me, it's been through 4 years of vigourous useage so I don't blame it. Anyway, I purchased a remote off ebay and just recieved it today. I followed the instructions as to how to program the 2nd remote and it's not working. I get the lights to flash after 5 cycles but when pressing the button 1 I get no confirmation. The remote works because I can see the transmitting icon when any button is pressed. So here's my question is there another variation of the remote that doesn't work with my system but look exactly the same or is the new remote messed.

make sure you have the correct remote for the antenna if that is correct try your antenna connection

Right remote for the antenna? My old remote barely works but when I tried the programming sequence on it, it did confirm. What other kinds of antenna's work with the blue remote's?

One more thing I wanted to add, would there be a difference between an american model and an international model because the remote was purchased from the states.
