Is there such a thing a a "timed relay". ie:- it does not latch and only switches for the duration allowed by the timer ( controlled by potentiometer).

Hey NaughtyDog,

I use one made by DEI.  It has  30AMP contacts and is pot ajustable from 1 to 90 seconds and activates with a positive or negative trigger.  It is part number 528T.  Great for temporary disconnects or "Wait to start" feature for diesels.
