So I have a customer that bought a manual starter for a base model 99 ford f 150. Anyways I tried hooking up to each pin individually and also tried going to the dome light wire as well, but the thing keeps on kicking out of ready mode. Any Ideas here. I have also tried swapping brains a couple times just to be sure. It s a nustart starter which is just a base model compustar 4200 brain. Thanks guys

Did you diode isolate(double diode) the door pins? And make sure your door monitoring for the manual trans part of the unit is connected on the BCM side of the pin wires!

If by double diode you mean a diode to each wire than yes i did. As for the BCM side, thats a good question, i caught the door pin wires in their respective kick panels

what's your email ? I'll send you a diode isolation diagram for the door trigger's to isolate the dome light from the door trigger sensing wire of the RS unit.
