i have a 2002 toyota tacoma and when i bought it the dealer put an alarm in it. and now i want to put a remote starter in but i need to know what color the disarm wire is for the toyota dealer alarm thanks

I don't believe there is a disarm wire for a dealer installed RS 3000 or Rs 3200 alarm.I know they do have a wire that connects to the keysense wire, usually with a scotchlock. You could try grounding that when it tries to start. I did one a few years back and didn't bother with a disarm at all. I just was sure to get the starter wire after the T harrness plugged in at the ignition switch. I can't remember for sure, but i might have cut the BLACK / YELLOW igition wire from the T harness and ran the ignition for the alarm thru the remote start, so it didn't see the ignition come on when remote started...

What does your remote look like? If it is finger shaped with 3 buttons on it, It is the Tds alarm.

i have that remote. i have also been wondering on how to disable my stock alarm for the same reason.

it has two buttons and it has the toyota logo on the bottom what is the keysence wire and what color is that thanks john

I removed mine before I put my start on, and you can too. Yours is a simple unplug the alarm and plug your harnesses back together.
