Hey guys... something wierd is goin on

put a remote start in my aunts 2001 Kia sportage limited... the start system is a basic start with lock and unlock   she has power everything and a factory alram... when you lock the truck with the remote... it arms the alarm but when you try to start it it sets the alarm off... only way to do it withouth the alarm goin on iss to either unlock it (disarm) start it then lock it again (arm) and it will stay off.... got any ideas?   i know im missing something... some lead is saposed to be connected somewhere to disarm the alarm or missing an extra component .... maybe a relay to unlock really quick to disarm then lock again... not sure... the lock system is wierd... there isnt a switch in the cab at all... it power locks all the doors if you manually push the lock down (the little thing that pops down on the door) and then unlock everything when you pull it up.... any ideas would be cool.... the harness for the locks is a 3 wire harness.. one ground and 2 wires...1 unlock and 1 lock .. when the 2 hot wires get grounded it will lock or the other way around will unlick... what am i missin?
