Prostart CT 5000

Here's one for the experts....

Installed only the remote start portion. Starts with the remote, but starter stays engaged.

In Panic mode, sends a signal to starter as well as horn,...ie, lights blink, siren blows, starter cranks, and continues until I hit lock/unlock on remote.

Getting signal from coil ( 27v )

Trained brain using auto tach, and multispeed tach, with the same results.

Wire diag, shows 2nd ignition wire as green red, the only green red I find is the wiper control wire @ 18 gauge.

any suggestions?

18 Gage Dark GREEN/ Red Must See A 12v Ignition At Start Up. This Wire Is Only On The 2000 Year Model........

Constant 12 volts	RED & PINK/BLACK	IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Ignition 12 volts	D BLUE	IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Starter	YELLOW	IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS

Ignition #2

BLACK/ ORANGE

Seems I have found the answer on my own( the best way anyway )

BAD GROUND!!!!

Resistance test showed faulty ground location. Once relocated, werks like a charm!
