On a 2002 civic without factory keyless, how do i wire up the module for the valet 712t
the door locks i do not understand (h1/5- h1/9)
the horn is negative in the car- do i hook up the wire from the valet straight to the horn or do i use a relay?

Easy, easy car.
(To answer your horn question, no, you do not need a relay---just hook it straight up.)
--Take down the dash panel that's in front of your knees, and then the black one that's above your toes....just thumbscrews; no tools needed.
--Up above where the driver's left foot would be, you'll see a wide, bright green plug going to nowhere, held up there by a little bit of blue tape.......that's the factory alarm plug.
--Directly above the driver's kick panel, is a metal bracket with a gray plug there.......that's where your locks are.
--Hopefully you are capable of testing wires for power and ground.........the various tech sheets will HELP you find wires, but it is up to the installer to test and verify what is right.
--At the factory alarm plug, you have everything you need except the doorlocks.
Horn: orange (-)
Parking lights: blue (-) (make sure to set the DEI unit for (-) lights
Ground: black (or go to chassis ground)
Constant and ignition power are there, but I forget the colors; test until you find them.
Do you want the domelight to come on when you unlock the doors? The driver's doorpin wire is green at the alarm plug; connect the DEI's BLACK/ white domelight supervision output, no relay should be needed.
---Doorlocks: At that other plug above the kick panel, WHITE/ blue is lock, WHITE/ green is unlock.......they'll test as a ground when you operate the switch on the car's door panel.
I know that all the various doorlock diagrams in the install manual can seem overwhelming, especially if the unit you have has a multiple-wire doorlock harness with onboard relays.
But keep in mind, you have the simplest lock system there is------ground either wire, and the doors will lock or unlock.
Does your unit simply have a two-pin plug with a a thin green and a thin blue wire.........or does it have a multi-pin harness, maybe with some purple wires with fuses on them?
