I need to know where and what color is the parking light wire in my 1995 Mazda 626 ES.
The wiring diagram says RED / black....do they mean a red or black one or RED / black. The wires change
color as they pass through the harness. Please help to locate the correct wire.

RED / Black means Red with Black stripe and it's at the light switch.

Hey NNAM_T,

I don`t know where you got your info but in your Mazda a light green wire from the light switch feeds the relay with a negative signal or you can use the orange wire in the drivers kick.  The orange is a high current psitive output from the relay going directly to the park lights.

In passing when they say `RED / BLACK` this is a RED wire with a BLACK stripe.

Did you test this RED / BLACK as being a park light?

Big Dog is right , my wiring diagram says using the ORANGE wire coming from the junction box under the driver side kick panel is the parking light wire.

I'm showing an Orange wire for a '97, but a RED / Black for a 96. Hence...verify(measure) all wires before making any connections.
