Hello,

I installed an Astroflex 903u remote start and Astroflex IOM-GMC-1 lock/PK3 interface last night in my wife's 2001 Aurora as a Christmas gift.

The remote start works fine (the ignition switch was a real treat to get to!), but somehow I've messed up the programming for the locks. They did work at one time. Any advise on how to reprogram them? The instructions aren't  too clear to me.

Also, I would like to energize the driver's seat heater. I think you are suppose to power up the pink wire between the heated seat switch and heated seat module. Again, any help would be appreciated.

Also, I'd like to

Still no go on the locks. Paging KarTunMan....

I have entered level 10 programming by putting switches 2 and 4 up, depressed the brake pedal and counted 10 flashes, put all switches down, depressed brake pedal again and saw 1 flash confirming program accepted.

Still, the transmitter acts as the non-locking version. Help!

A couple of things. 1st try reprogramming the IOM GMC1. follow the instructions as if it were just first installed. This is what controlls the door locks, NOT the 2106 brain.

Also, make sure the transmitter is programmed as well. flip up dip#8, hit the brake, push the lock button on the first transmitter, push the unlock on the second, flip the dip#8 down, hit the brake. This will relearn both transmitters.. this is the most important thing to check, especially if you get NO action when you push any of the buttons.

You also need to go into leval 5 and program output 1 for trunk. 3 6 9 up, hit the brake put em all down hit the brake, done!

Make sure the autolock feature is NOT ON. Leval 10. This is what you did based on the info in your last post, thats good!

I've got the locks working, thanks! I also figured out the driver's heated seat - negative pulse to the pink wire at the driver's seat heater switch.    posted_image
