I have a '98 Subaru Legacy Outback Limited and I'm trying to install this Compustar alarm. I'm having problems with the Driver's Priority Unlock. With my old remote, I could push the button and the driver door would open and hold it for the rest of the doors to open. I used all the cables from the original keyless entry module, but I checked the driver door wires and if I connect either to ground, neither unlocks the door. One wire is labeled driver switch and the other driver motor. I think one of them gives 12V and the other 0V.
I have Driver's Priority Unlock and Double Pulse enabled. I connected the second pulse wire to the open all doors wire (tested to ground and it works) but that doesn't work. If I hit the button twice nothing happens. Is it due to the driver door wire not being connected? I'm wondering if anyone has a clue as to how to set up the driver door on my car.
Also, I have to connect the cable to the module for the driver door to lock as well. Otherwise only the other locks will lock. I'm assuming I can fix that through bridging or a relay or something. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I figured out that the driver door is reverse polarity, so I need a relay to get it. Turns out both driver switch and motor are 0V. What does driver switch do?
I opened up the keyless entry box to see if I could trace the all doors lock signal, but I can't figure out what it does to lock the driver door. Looks like I'm gonna have to keep the stupid module just to do that, unless someone else knows how it works.
Also if anyone has a more exact location for the door pin wires, that would be very helpful. Too many damn wires in the kick panel and I swear I've tested all the ones of the right color. Recommendations for repair manuals are welcome as well. I've been looking to get one, but no one around here owns a Subaru.
