Subject: 12V compustar fuse blow up

This 2 way FM compustar is 1 year old and been installed in the car for about a year now.  Nothing has ever been touched since and all of a sudden it stopped working.  I go check the fuse and its literally exploded and melted.  Weird part is that both 12V powers from the compustar are going to the same 12V power source and only 1 of the fuses went.  Any ideas what could make a fuse literally explode and melt seeing its been fine for a year now

 bad brain unit i would say ive sent back a few compustars

ok..its fixed.  it was a bad fuse holder on the 12V wire that caused this.
