Does anyone have an install guide for the Astrostart 4204U?  I have one in each of my vehicles and would like to program the remotes to start the other vehicle using the two separate channels.  I would really appreciate any help you can provide.

Email is ndcouple@min.midco.net

First off, you do know how to use the remote for 2 vehicle operation....correct?one push, let up, then push and hold (any button) this would be vehicle #2

#1 is just push and hold.....    To program 1 remote for 2 vehicles. all you need to do is get both transmitters and both cars. access the brain, flip up dip #8 hit the brake, then (for car # 2) push the lock button for a 1/2 second let up, then push and hold. Do this with BOTH transmitters, same button pushing sequence. After both have been learned put dip #8 down, hit the brake, car# 2 is done.

Do this with the 1 way, and the 2 way transmitter at the same time....so you need ALL of the remotes to getthe programming done properly.

For car# 1 access the brain, dip #8 up, hit the brake then on a remote push and HOLD lock. Then do the same thing with the second transmitter. Put dip #8 down, hit the brake, your done with #1....

You will notice the sound the transmitter generates is different when you do the 1/2 second push, before you push and hold....

Thanks!  That worked perfectly.  Curious though if you can email me the install guide?  I would love to have so that I can change other settings later down the road.  ie. temp setting and the run time for where I might be living.  I am military and tend to move around a lot.  Thanks again!
