Hi,

I have an AU-84T Magnetic Shock Sensor, I think its manufactured by Omega.

It has 1 adjustment dial on the side and 4 wires coming from the unit: red, black, blue, green.

If anyone is familiar with Omega products could you tell me if this is a single or dual zone shock sensor?

Also as it is being hard wired to an alarm with no onboard sensor port, could some one tell me what each of the coloured wires are for.

Thanks, Mo

this is a 2 stage shock sensor.(zone 1& 2)
red=constant 12 volt,black=constant ground,
blue=alarm(hard)trigger
green=prewarn(soft)trigger

Hi,
Thanks for the wire colours and use.

It only has one adjusting dial, does anyone know how the 2 zone shock sensor works in this case?

Thanks, Mo

Any takers for my query?

If a 2 zone shock sensor only has 1 dial on it for adjustment and a 4 wire harness.

How does it work e.g. how would it decipher a light impact to a heavy impact as there is only one adjustment?

Thanks,
Mo
