I had an Autopage RS 720LCD installed in my Chevy Avalanche. They installed the GM Data All bypass module. The problem that I have is that when I shut off the truck, the dorr locks unlock and immediately lock, forcing me to unlock manually. I have also read that this bypass modue was replaced by the GM SL is this true. What bypass modules is everyone using for GM vehicles. Please help.

Can anybody help me in getting the wiring information for a 2003 Chevy Avalanche, I have installed a RS 720 and I'm having problems with the door locks. (When I shut off the car the door locks recycle very fast, open and lock immediately) I have installed the GM data all bypass, thinking of replacing with eith the GMDL-BP or the 457 GW) I would like o have it as close to factory as I can. I don't want to lock my self out by leaving the keys in the ignition. Thanks

I like the 457G, works great. Before you change, try redoing your connections. These mods are very touchy when it comes to a good solid ground. That was an issue with the 457g when it was first developed....

The problem may not be with your bypass but maybe the remote starter's programming. Most modules are designed to shut off the retained accessory power and rearm the factory alarm after shut down. The GMDAA module does this as well as the GMDLBP module.

The Gmdl-bp needs to be set up so it leaves the doors unlocked on shutoff , look at position two on the bypass instructions, I used a gmdl-bp on my Trailblazer and it did the same thing ,locking the doors , I set it to #2 leaves the doors open on shut off and I lock it with the remote now
