hi all

i installed remot starter in acura TL 1999 this remot starter has out for door lock unlock but i didnt connect thes wires because the owner wants to keep the origenal remote to lock unlock the doors. now if we lock the doors using the origenal remot and start the car with remot starter the car starts and work fine but when trying to unlock the car with oreginal remote it dosnt open the doors we have to stop the remot starter then we can open the doors with remot.

any help pleees

thats a safety issue with the oem remotes, if the car is running, it wont unlock. best bet is to let the alarm lock unlock, and have only one remote. otherwise always unlock first then start. hope that helps
