code alarm 545 was workin great for 2 months, last night, pressed the opt twice to start it, and all i hear is some very faint chirpin by the siren.  but nothing happens, i try to unlock the car, same faint chirpin sound.  sounds like it's tryin to work, but doesnt.  so i eventually just open the car manually, turn the ignition and the alarm goes off.  i am able to press the unlock and it turns off the siren.  i drive it 20 mins, turn it off, and try the remote start, it works!

later that night though, same problem, wont start or unlock.  then this morning, it doesnt work at all.  the remote beeps, but there is no response from the car alarm.  the blue led button in the car doesnt light anymore either.  if i turn the valet switch off, i hear some clicking.

anyone know this problem

It's likely to be a bad ground, but it would be best to troubleshoot to verify------wait until it fails again, drop the brain to where you can get to it------probe the terminals at the brain with your circuit tester, and find out which terminal is not doing what is supposed to.
