I am attempting to hook up the memory seat to be linked to channel 2 and 4. But the problem is that I can not get the brain to distinguish between the two remotes, anything I program to one of them...it programs to both. Does this viper unit support the ability to have two different setting depending on which remote you use?

Yes. The beauty of ESP2.... up to 4 different remotes with their own settings. Having a bitwriter helps.

That's the problem, it won't recognize the remotes as being different. I have a bitwriter v2.0 but it says it's an unrecognized module when I plug it in.

Interesting...... may need to update the bitwriter. It it one of the new 160XV's with the programmable start delay?
You should be able to program using the valet switch and LED as well....

when you set up features choose a remote and learn it as remote 1 then program your other features as remote 2.... if you program to 0 it learns to ALL remotes.. but it is very easy to program remote specific features....

You can buy the update chips for the bitwritter for about 10bucks. Do a search on the net.

I can only find v2.0 on the net, and that's the version I already have that doesn't recognize the module
