I just got my remote start to work on my truck, (1995 ford f-150) and it starts it up, however it doesnt tell the system that it has already started. so it keeps on grindin the starter into the flywheel. the instructions say to coil the wire 5 times neer the highvoltage, found neer the distributer or fuel injectors. we did something of the sort, however no luck.
any help would be appreciated.

What kind of remote start unit. Many that have the wrap around sense need to be rapped around a spark plug wire. Some units such as Ungo have direct wire tach or tach sence (wrap around). If your unit has both, you may need to program it. A direct tach almost always performs better.
