The door pins to turn on the dome light and buzz when the keys are in when the door opens.

Each side has a red(+) wire and is grounded by the switch.

Can I clip & cap the red wires to end the buzz, or will this screw a bunch of other stuff up too?

Your door pins will no longer work, no dome light when the doors are open, and if you have an alarm that is hooked to the door triggers, it will no longer monitor the doors if someone were to break into the car. Are you having issues with the buzzer buzzing all the time? Need more info on what you want to acomplish and why?

I do a little hunting and I don't want the buzzer to go off when I open the door.

Also, I just hate the noise!

If I can shut it down by clipping 2 wires without screwing up anything....wo-hoo!, I am a happy man.

listen for the buzzer and pull the thing out. Or see if there is a fuse for the door chime and remove it. Or cut the wires as a last resort. Your car doesn't have auto seatbelts does it?

The door buzzer is part of the relay integration circut that is attached to the back of the fuse block in the drivers kick pannel.  It is on a circut board all soldered in real nice!

God, I hate computers!

What ever happened to being able to fix stuff with a roll of wire, a screwdriver and a pair of vise-grips?

On my 77 LandCruiser, I could change a piston on the side of the road in less than an hour with 3-4 wrenches and a phillips screwdriver!
