hey guys,

i gotta put a remote start on my sisters 2005 GC. Im using a viper 160xv and was gonna use a 556u but after checking out the techsoft on the car, i noticed i had to go to the car to get the locks and whatnot... so i checked out bypasskits.com and they said the PKU-CH2X would do everything i needed and i wouldnt even lose a key. Has anyone used this with this truck? i've only used DEI products. Also, where can i purchase this module?

I don't think that unit does doors.........

The CHDL7-PK2 does

Have you tried the Express Loader yet from OMEGA & XPRESSDownload.com ?

If the Grand Cherokee has memory seats you can find the door locks behind instrument cluster. They are (-) and there are 2 unlocks (dr. door, pass. doors). Cluster very easy to remove. However there is no disarm wire for a factory alarm. Fortin makes a bypass for the key that also has a disarm (Chrysler PATS 04+). I believe their CAN SL does the locks, arm and disarm, and ete. Parking lights are CAN BUS. What I have been doing is tagging the hazards. There are other ways to get the parking lights but I usually do these at dealerships so time is an issue.
