I installed this system this morning on a 1996 Dodge Ram. After programming the system and learning tach, I tried to remote start and got nothing. The keyless and alarm functions work fine. The unit claimed to learn the tach as the parking lights stayed constant after programming and the safety control switch is installed and turned to "on". This is the first Audiovox remote start system I have installed as I usually only work with DEI. Is there anything I could be missing or need to re-program? Thanks.

guess I can answer my own question, after posting I went back to the truck and reprogrammed the unit using the Audiovox programmer I have and everything worked fine. odd since I programmed it once before, but hey whatever works.
