is the bulldog security remote start any good. its a do it urself tpye thing. i am just looking for something easy and cheap and something i can do on my own. it is going i n a 95 nissan maxima. post comments about this. thanks scott

there are many other units that are easy to install and tons more reliable than bulldog. DEI sells what they call do it yourself kits that you should look into. I believe they still sell them at Circuit City and you could check Ebay.

Hi. I would suggest to keep away from bulldog. Have heard they are very unreliable. Go for something better.

Bulldog remote starters are junk,you can tell by looking at their products,cheaply made,thats why CHINA mart sells them.Just my two cents

thanks guys for the input. i got a code alarm instead because i got it for 40 dollars at circuit city.

Did you get the Code alarm CSI-400 model from circuitcity. My buddy got one. tried to install it himself, without success. Tried for almost a week to troubleshoot the install. Finally gave up and got a python RS system from circuitcity installed professionaly. Buy.com had a crimestopper for 65$.
