Id like to be able to control both my cars with one remote. The remote im specifically looking at is Python 671xp. Do 2-way remote start systems generally allow you to control 2 cars/alarms with one remote?

Kite,

I just had my viper 791 remote start set up this way...one for my car, one for my wifes. Top two buttons are for my car, bottom 2 are for hers. Push them both together and they remote start teh appropriate car.

Crimestopper's systems are set up for two car activation- have a button on the side of the remotes to activate second vehicle

did you do this on your own? or did you get it done?

and if anyone knows how do you do it, i got the programmer for the 791xv.

Hey, Im still wondering about this.

Is there a alarm where I can use one remote to operate either system? I want to put an alarm in my car and my wifes. Id like each of us to only need one remote.

Is there a way to do this without using the aux. channels?

My Autopage RS-725 paperwork says it will control 2 vehicles.

I have a 06 ram 2500 qc ctd 4x4 auto trans. The remote start works great and has good range. Two way remote gives extra piece of mind. System was about $450 installed.

all the new DEI 2-way RS pieces coming out this spring will have the 2 car capability that they introduced with their security models last summer.... there is a small button on the back of the remote you press to select vehicle A or vehicle B......

so there is a model all ready out that contorls two cars? I had a hornet before, I think that is DEI. If you know of a specific model, that would be great, otherwise Ill go browse the DEI site.

the Clifford Matrix 10.5X we have in stock controls 2 different vehicles....

Well, I couldnt find much information on the clifford, or much for sale online.

I think Ill go with the autopage. I see the 860 online for 160 shipped. Im gonna get two of them. Thx all.
