Just to clear this up

1st IGN pink,   2nd IGN white,    1st ACC orange,   2nd ACC brown

and is that how they should be wired

you dont NEED the brown hooked up..... other than that, yes....

Actually you do require the Brown second accessory wire on those vehicles now. If not you will set a trouble code on some of these vehicles. It powers up a transmission module on these vehicles. The check engine light doesn't always come on at first, but will after a few minutes. It's not on all of them, but it is better to do it and not have it come back. I have seen quite a few already do this.

Accually it's a secondary air something or other and it's only on the 06's so far.

I beg to differ. I have had to fix 3 Envoys for this so far and one was a 2004 and the others were 2005's.

Some may not agree......But this is how I have hooked up since 2002.
Never had one come back...........
And I always Power the Brown wire
