passlock light with 555l

I installed a remote start in a 2003 impala and used a dei 555l for the bypass. No for some reason the passlock light comes on in the message center only when the car is not running but the key is in the on "acc" position. Do I need to diode isolate one of the wires off of the bypass?

I'm stupid, I admit it. The car is supposed to do that.
