i just always use the power lock and unlock wires but i was wondering what you can do with the lock and unlock motor wires? can using these wires make it faster and easier? just wondering. trying to learn some new tricks to take it up a notch at work with the buddies.

motor wires are usually used for progressive door lock wiring, thats the only time ive ever used them

We use them in cases where we need to use the factory remote to operate another device. Two examples, a keyless entry upgrade alarm(it uses the motor leg positive pulses to turn on and off), and a remote start addon(it sees positive pulses from lock and unlock to know when to start).
