I'm installing a Viper 560XV into a Suzuki Jimny 1990 (it's a small jeep wich doesn't come in the US i believe).

I'm having some trouble with the power door locks. Most Suzuki's use (-) controlled door locks and this one does to. I've got them to unlock but there doesn't seem to be a (-) wire for the lock.
Here's the diagram for it:
Suzuki Diagram

The BROWN / yellow wire makes em unlock.

As I can't find a control wire for the lock I was wondering if I couldn't just use a relay to ground the Green wire and give the Red wire voltage.
I did one test run with 12V and it blew a fuse.
I then measured it and it seems to be about 3,3V and 3 Amps.

Now how can I get that voltage from the cars 12V power system?
Any ideas?

its a 1 wire system when the wire is cut it lock and then its rejoined and given a neg it unlocks or visa versa.

run a search on here for dei document 1041. that has all the locking sytems in it..

the reason i say it is i found a 03 jimmy and that had a type f so maybe the older one did 2

I'm installing a Viper 560XV into my Suzuki Jimny(Escudo aparently) 1999 model and i'm having some trouble with the immobilizer.

The remote start is wired in but because if the immobilizer it won't work unless the key is in the ignition. I believe it is a transponder system if some sort (thought it was just passlock at first but i was wrong)

Here's a Diagram for the imobilizer: Pic1 and Pic 2

Now i've never worked around this kind of system before.
Can it be done?

try a universal mod that leaves a key in the car

Well turns out the power lock was type F so that's out of the way :)

Now for the Immobilizer.

Powermyster: Do you just mean leaving the key in the ignition?
