The diagram says it's a YELLOW wire behind the fusebox. I found 3 yellow wires there, but none of them tested correctly. So I took out the door pins to see what wire it is and driver side is BLACK/ LT BLUE, the passenger side is YELLOW. Do I have to wire the door trigger from the alarm to EACH of the doors or is there a place where I can wire it so it senses both doors at the same time?
The truck is ext cab 1997 Dakota V6 RWD.

Yes, that's what the diagram says, which is incorrect.

find the dome light wire. Thats if both doors trigger the dome light
I have always used BLK/L-Blue
Or hook both up with a diode

I ended up connecting the door trigger input to each door isolating with diodes. Just couldn't find any other way. Funny thing is how much time you spend looking for that single wire just 'cause you don't want to go through the trouble of running a wire from the other side of the car (all wires except that one are under dash on driver side), but in the end you lose so much more time, that it's just better to go trough the "long" way.
