Installing a 561R on a 2004 Ford Ranger.I unhooked the ignition harness, the part with the bolt that holds it in.Spliced my wires in and plugged it back in and nothing,I just plugged it back in to check for a constant and nothing with key. What could be the problem? Thanks!

Do you still have voltage to the YELLOW wires in the Plug?

If so....check to see if you bent the connectors
If NOT.....Check your Fuses under hood

Should be a couple of major fuses for Constant Power.
I don't think Ford used Fuseable Links off Battery

That's the one.........
Be sure not to GROUND or accientally Ground those wires........
Serious problems can occur
Have you got the Wiring Guide for that vehicle?

It would get you wired............But I wouldn't want to Drive the Vehicle until the proper fuse is in..........It really depends on the load.  Like what is powered thru that fuse
