Having trouble getting into reservation mode. I go through all the steps in order but when I go to remove the key the engine shuts down. Only error code is 7 not in reservation mode.

Did you accidentally cut the wire loop in the brain? or was it cut already? You verified with a meter that the e-brake wire and the brake wire were giving the proper signal?

Loop is intact, never touched. Suspect e brake. Foot brake checks out.

How to test E brake?
