can and how the factory alarm on a 85 corvette be bypassed. my problem is my starter interupt relay is not getting signal. i can touch a test light to the small green wire and it will start. without doing that it will not start..please help

You are on the right wire.........
If you are not going to fix the problem, you could put a Relay on the Unlock wire to send a Negative Pulse to the Disarm wire

OEM Alarm Disarm

LIGHT GREEN

so what do you think that is causing it not to work right i have fac diagram not sure what to chase down..thanks

It's been a few years, but Chevy had a problem with the Factory Security Unit on those, mostly caused from circuit board corosion & failure.
If you have not done any wiring on the car, you might want to trace the wire to make sure that it is not broken from the unit
