I'm installing an Asian Wolf 20096 alarm/remote start into 97 Dodge Dakota. Everything is connected and the only thing left is connecting door lock wires.
The alarm has 2 wires for locking:
1) Yellow (+ Lock, - Unlock)
2) White (- Lock, + Unlock)
I'm really confused here, because I don't understand how the alarm decides which wire is the lock wire and which one is the unlock??
My truck has positive door locks, and the unlock wire must be 5 wired. The diagram that the manual provides shows to use the Yellow wire for unlocking in a 5 wire configuration. Ok, this seems right to me. But what do I use for the lock wire?? It's just a simple positive lock, but the "+ Lock" is located on the Yellow wire that is already used for the unlock. So what do I do? Or do I just use a relay for the White wire to convert negative lock to positive? But how will the alarm know which signal to output?
I'd appreciate some help here before I fry anything, and this is the last thing to connect, so I hope I can get it done tonight.

your locks are (+) not 5 wire:
yellow goes to grn/blk or or/blk
white goes to pink/prpl
both of these can be found in the drivers kick panel.

What's a dlrm, and why 2 relays? I understand I need a relay for 5 wire, and 1 for reversing polarity, but not sure if the alarm is smart enough to figure out which wire is which.

According to the wire chart I have, it is a 5 wire unlock, and a positive lock.

Any idea how the lock/unlock outputs work?

Ok, the alarm has negative lock/unlock outputs. I don't know why they put down as both, negative and positive. Wired it up last night to a straight positive lock with relay to reverse polarity, and 5 wired the unlock and everything works perfect.
