I have searched online to no avail...

I would like to find/create a way to add the "memory mirrors" or tilt down backup mirrors (not sure what to call them)

Basically, its a feature many new cars have where you put the truck in reverse, and the side mirrors automatically tilt down a little bit to assist with seeing curbs/lines. I would like to add this to my '01 f150 that already has power mirrors.

Is there a timer or something that I may be able to wire up to allow the mirrors to physically move down?

I understand relay concepts and have used them in my vehicle extensively already (remote start, built in relay for garage door opener, ect....)

Where I am stuck is once the 12+ from the reverse lights are on (to activate), how can I make it only power mirrors down a little, and then stop, until the 12+ is taken away, at which point I need them to go back up to where they started?

Am I asking this correctly?

Thanks in advance, I really appreicate any help on this circuit...

Or is there a module I could plug in that already exists?

You aren't going to find anything premade for what you want. Test the wires at the window switches and see how the wires operate. You'll need to use timer modules (download a manual for the TR-7 from pac-audio.com) and some relays. The positive from the reverse lights will trigger the mirrors down....I have some ideas how to make them go back up but it would require a diagram and way too much thinking on my part.
