I'm working on a 1994 buick century.  I have installed a Omega al-2000-e security system.  I'm having two problems with it.  The first has to do with the trunk release.  It has a factory remote release but to use the transmitter it says i'll need a relay of some sort.  I need to know what kind of relay I need and how to hook it up but cannot find this information anywhere.  The second problem has to do with non-starts.  On colder days (anything under 40) the remote start will try to start three times and either doesn't start or if it starts, it's on the third try accomanied by a big puff of blue smoke out of the exhaust.  This is my fiancee's grandfather's car and I really need to fix it.  any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

Trunk/Hatch Release black   +  release switch

any standard 12V relay you can pick up at best buy, circuit city, radio shack.looks like that one up there ^. have you hooked up the tach? seen many voltage check (aka tachless) have problems in cold weather

Tachometer    AC ignition coil module

BUICK, CENTURY, 1994, Tachometer

Use white or orange on the 4 cylinder motor, and PURPLE / white on the 6 cylinder motor.

Thank you very much.  I had the option to go tachless or tie in the tach.  I attatched to the tach as it comes into the vehicle.  Interior side of the firewall.
