I have recently installed a Compustar 2WSS-AS alarm in my 01 civic. I did not connect the 2nd accessory because i did not know where to connect it. Could that be why the car will not crank when i try to remote start?

What did you use for a ByPASS?
Why didn' t you finish the Install prior to Remote Starting?

You need that wire for the 2nd ignition wire in the vehicle

have you programmed the remote, have you programmed tach, have you gone over everything to make sure it is all hooked up properly

that vehicle requires a bypass for the factory immobilizer, part number is 556H (no key required) or the 556U (extra key required) all parts are from DEI

I have yet to install the bypass, but shouldn't the remote start work with the key in the ignition? (just to check if remote start works)

We did not have time to finish the install so we just got the alarm working and left the bypass for another day. Im guessing its the status wire not being hooked up yet.
