I am installing a Black Widow BW-S1 in a 99 Windstar. I used the APP-1 bypass and it works fine. The only problem is the "THEFT" light is flashing on the dash and the factory remote doesn't work anymore. I talked to a Ford mechanic and he said that light flashes when it doesn't see the key, but the remote start works fine and it starts with the key as well. Any ideas?

When does the light flash ? When remote started and after take over with the key ? It's suppose to flash when there's no key in the ignition. As far as the OEM remote control, did you check the battery ?

Well, I found out the light is operating normally. But I haven't figured out the factory remote problem. It worked yesterday before the installation but I haven't checked the battery.
One other issue. Is there a better way to tie in to the rear door openers than getting into the overhead switch?

Duh, apparently I knocked the keyless entry fuse out fooling with the fuse box cover.
Still would like some help on the rear doors.
