Hi,

I've done a search but I cannot post in older threads about this topic.

I'm installing a Autopage 850 into my 90 Cherokee Limited. I have a question regarding the H1/1 Violet wire "Starter Output" on page 8 of this install manual: https://www.autopageusa.com/resources/RS855LCD_Install_rv72104.pdf (I know it's for a 855 but it is almost the same as my 850 install manual, well at least this section is)

It shows the Violet wire must be installed after the "Starter Cut Relay" when used and before the netural safety switch.

Is this relay something I add or will it already be there?

If so where would I find it?

you can simply hook this wire up to the starter wire(dark green I think...test it) in the ignition harness.

the starter cut relay is a relay that you would have to add.

OK another question. My wiring diagram is giving me a 50/50 for the parking light output.

Wire H2/2 Page 9

Will this power up my parking lights by the alarm or draw power from the headlight switch into the alarm? Right now the wire I have chosen is live all the time. I think I have the wrong side of the switch.

What is your Vehicles Parking Light Amps now?
Is there a fuse for ONLY the Parking lights?
10amps is close to standard, but if your Vehicle requires more then you will have to use a Relay

I figured out I was on the wrong side of the switch.

Yes the parking lights are on their own circuit. I'll check the amperage anyways.

I have extra relays but they do not have a diode as my Starter kill relay comes with. Would I need a diode for light control?

Well long time since I posted this.

I was sick for awhile with the flu and the 850 I had was not working properly so after a long delay I was given a 860 to install. I'm at the last stage the power locks.

Do I have a alternating wire setup as I have a separate relay for lock and a separate relay for unlock? I have factory keyless entry...
