Using the 457g and viper 160xv. Car tried to start then when I tried to program the unit I blew the ignition switch fuse. Once replaced, the RS will only turn the ignition on and then immediately back off. I cant figure out what would be causing this to happen since all that was replaced was a fuse. The car will start and run just fine by the key, and the bypass is programmed. The door locks work fine, and everything meters up correctly. Need help pretty quickly.

Start by testing the UNIT and see if all the wires that should power up are. Test to see if the starter wire from the unit is lighting up when you remote start it

hmm well stupid mistake on my part, but direct techs didnt help me any this time either
brake wire is not lt. green like direct tech claims - - The brake wire on this vehicle @ the brake switch is white. Hope this might help someone later on. Too bad it costs me an extra hour to find.

yeah I just found that out. Our computer was going crazy today and printed the first page of the Bonneville and then printed the second page of the previous car we had installed on. Crazy thing then decided right before I left work to print out the second page to the Bonneville like it was suppossed to. I guess it was having a bad day, but it took me a min to figure everything out.
