I just installed a RS on a 1997 Park Avenue using the GMDL-BP and I'm having a problem with the door locks and trunk (anti-theft works perfect). The locks and trunk will work a couple of times then stop working (lights still flash). If I arm it with the factory remote or start the car the RS remote will work again a couple times then quit again. Everything is programmed to the correct platform (#3). Any suggestions?

I may be wrong but i thought that the GM-DLBP works with park ave. 98-up. That would explain why its not working.

I agree. My application chart shows that the GMDLBP will only work on a 1998 or newer Park Ave. You may have to resort to either replacing the module with another to do the door locks or hardwire the wires inside the driver's door.

According to the instructions, it works on 97-up.

i did one a few months ago and remember the GMDLBP not controlling the door locks.  I had to go into the door.  The only thing it did was bypass the PK3.

OMEGA has had it listed 1997 & Up since New.
You might want to Check with OMEGA on the Version you have.
Older Instructions showed 1997.....New instructions Start at 1998
Be sure you have the RED ...  Constant 12 Volt + After the doors are shut.
Also a Good Ground
