i have a 2001 saturn L200 i need to hook up the third ignition wire for my remote start i think i know what wire to use in the car my ? is how do i hook up the relay for this the install book dont tell you

pin 85=ground out when running from your remote start

pin 86=1st or 2nd ignition wire

pin 30=+12V

pin 87=3rd ign. on your car

third ignition (key sense) must see ground during remote start to keep service light off. kohara73 the relay you have iam lost on pin 86posted_image

so whats the problem the engine light keeps coming on when u crank it ? and is that why u are asking about a third ignition ?

sorry i just reread if the key sense has to see ground. what u need to do is look at the directions and see if there is a 3rd ignition wire output from the alarm harness. it should be a smaller wire and that will send out a low amp negative signal and i would definitely diode isolate it.  and hopefully no relay needed. this should help

Saturns only have two ignition wires.

What is it you are trying to do?

Does your L have manual or automatic climate controls?
